Nice wee vid I still love the classic GH 😊 Hope you've invested in a good variable temp soldering iron since making this though, it makes all the difference and getting enough heat into a joint quickly (in and out as fast as possible before heat starts transferring to everything else) is essential to good soldering 🙂

I too have hit the rc wall over the past couple of months. I've had my cougar out on my bench to work on all that time and I've done very little work to fix it and install the upgrades I have ready but I know it'll all come flooding back as it always does. We've all missed you Glen and your school boy like enthusiasm for the cars.... Especially your patented saying.... LOOK AT IT!.... take no notice of any haters, we all have them bro for 1 reason or another but I look forward to you coming roaring back. Much love to ya Glen! 👍

Those shock towers are way too big. They should mimmic the size of the OEM even if it is thicker. The R&D failed on that one. That's why the cover won't fit on easily. Looks mint but terrible fitting.

I came across one of these at a yard sale. It’s about 70% compete. Always wondered what it looked like all in one piece.

I am going to completely steal your idea of the clear canopy I will also paint the front of the can be identical to yours but I believe I'm going to go with the pearl white color. . I completely understand and believe you when it comes to the Subaru mine is the PS blue. On the manta ray I'm also going to paint the chassis White. I painted the chassis of the boomerang white and it just completed it perfectly. Another vehicle that I changed the color was the Mercedes-Benz C10. I started painting it in full metallic silver but when I backed it with Rust-Oleum blue paint that I had lying around it became a mirror like finish. So the Mercedes now appears to be a mirror like finish. And I have departed from one other boxer and that was the sand scorcher, it maintains the exact same pattern as the box art but instead of blue and white we have camouflage and white, yes I said camouflage all of the panels that would be white in this instance including the roof line and the engine cover are the camouflage. All of the box art lines are there except they are camouflage. . The wheel fenders, they are PS olive green. It sounds absolutely ridiculous but it looks incredible.

Very moving story. For me the Boomerang is the one. My mum helped me build it all those years ago and I loved that buggy. I'll always remember those times.
